Frequently asked questions
- Why isn't my suggestion visible yet?
- New suggestions start as pending and only go live once a second, independent person confirms them. It keeps mistaken or one-off entries off the map.
- Why did a location flip from “has” to “none” (or back)?
- An automated engine — never a single user — changes status when enough recent, independent reports point the other way. Reports are weighted by each contributor's track record and how recent they are.
- How do I fix wrong information?
- Open the location's page and report the correct status, or use Flagto tell us something's off. Admins can fix names, merge duplicates, and override a status when needed.
- Do you sell my data?
- No. We never sell your data. See our Privacy page.
- Do I need an account?
- No — there are no accounts. Everyone contributes anonymously.
- How are ratings averaged?
- With a Bayesian average— a friendly way of saying we nudge spots with only a handful of ratings toward the overall average, so one or two reviews can't dominate.
