Methodology
Rankings use each location's Bayesian average— a fair way to score ratings that pulls spots with only a handful of reviews toward the overall average, so a single rave (or a single pan) can't win or lose a ranking on its own.
A state only appears in the ranking once it has at least 5 rated locationsthat carry Diet Coke. Below that we show “not enough data yet” rather than a misleading rank, and we always print the sample size beside every average.
The numbers refresh daily. We never invent data or superlatives.
